Greek Inspiration

Through the Aegean Sea, six friends, along with their trusty skipper, sailed and explore the Cyclades Islands for 14 beautiful days. Our sailboat, appropriately named the (Greek) Inspiration, provided much comfort as we sailed the ocean blue.

Poring over tens of routes and eventually giving up and going with expert opinions, our yacht route was very dependent on weather and priorities on what we wanted to do. As a group, we decided our goals of the trip should be:
  1. Not too much time sailing so we can explore the islands
  2. See Santorini and Mykonos
  3. Relax and really explore the islands!
In the end, this yacht week series will be based on our port of destination. For the islands or places where we stayed overnight, those will have individual posts as each island is very unique and special! As I write the post, this post will be updated for the appropriate links!

Inspiration Summary

By the end, we had 6 passengers - all hailing from Florida (not!). For the size of the boat, 6 people was great as we had plenty of room to sunbathe on deck and our living quarters weren’t as cramped. That being said, I believe we could have squeezed onto a smaller boat but we did enjoy our life of luxury!
